9-13-8 with O.Hinds

This picture was taken in front of Oliver/Beckey's home at 103 Terra, Bay, AR. You can see Oliver in the window;as well as the American Flag that Beckey put in our window on the first anniversary of the 9-11-01 terrorist attack. That rocking chair was my mother's. John brought Becky three thimbles, one of which was his Muhr-Muhr's(Mother's mother's). John also gave us a crystal nowball by Kosta Boda of Sweden. Larry Don Gillihan accompanied us at Western Sizzlin and gave us autographs. Larry Don wrote and sang Honey Bun. We drove on over to Turtlecreek Mall and visited with sister, Maxine Haun at her Merle Norman studio. I drove John and Carina back to Trumann. They will leave out for Chicago tomorrow. ... Have a great trip!!!!! O.Hinds

This photo of the Vaden Home and Bearden homes was taken from 216 Speedway, Trumann, AR. The Hinds home was on this empty lot. The Young's home was on the left. John Boija and Carina were visitors today with Oliver/Beckey Hinds.

The third stop was at the old home of Tobe/Lena Vaden. The children who grew up here were: Riley, Arlen, Betty, Georgia and Aaron Dean Vaden. Shirley H. lives here at 213 Speedway and was gracious enough to allow us to take photos of the Vaden Home.

One of the first stops for John B. and Carina was over to Marrianne, Stephen and Mark. Derrick is in Little Rock this week-end. I think all were mutually impressed. This was Carina first trip to the States whereas neither of them had visited Graceland. They both are from Taby(near Stockholm), Sweden. Taby is the size of Jonesboro roughly but Stockholm has 1.4 million.
