9/15-17/8 with O.Hinds

  1. Monday-- Had breakfast with 'ol George F(99). I bought him briefs, T-shirts and a bag of oranges. He was glad. He reminds me of Joe Hinds. What an orchard full of fallen limbs! I returned Bobby H.'s chain saw. I hadn't completely opened the choke! I found my Poulan (formerly H.'s) It has a problem with the return tube (broken in several places).
  2. Tuesday... Got through my morning and Beckey and I headed for W.Memphis to Michelle/Barry's on Oakdale. I sprang for the the supper and brought in three whole Wal-Mart baked chickens! The crew of Ashley,Jake, Amber/Barry & Michelle chowed down! Beck and I went Roller/Citizens's Funeral Home for visitation for cousin Emma Lois Barton. Her husband, Frank, son,Steve, and daughter, Sharon and families were there. I met Louise Cobb, her sister, who was in 4-H back when I was. Ms. Bartholomew was her 4-H leader as well. Her husband was there and I talked with him as well. He was from Promise Land and knew Leroy May. Beckey and I went to Patriot Field where Jake's 7th grade football team were playing Marion... they got beat 32-6. Stopped at McDonald's and got fries and a double cheese burger....
  3. Billy S. was at home today. I picked up produce for my animules, fed them and got some $129 out and my balance was un mil y dos. I picked up James R. and we drove in the '91 Nissan to Paragould where Dallas G. put a transmission for the '90 Ford Ranger in my truck... paid Mr. J.W.G cinco veintes y we rode back to Bay... I bought an accordion, trumpet, wardrobe and a couple of video cameras from their flea market... (algunas $treinta dolares). James wants the '76 Ford truck... I think I will let it go in his direction. I worked on the '90 Ranger that I bought from Mary F.
