- Mon .. worked at the Grove
- *Dropped by and visited Louise H.H.F. She is a sister to Lonnie/Luther Holt. Aunt Josephine married Lonnie. Louise lives next door to Don/Vivian in Blalocks Apts... Decided to work in Trumann. Ate at Campbell Sr. Citizen Center... Bulldog, Odell, Henry P., Bob Sloan(kin to Turmans... Robert 1st cousin), Vera, Syble Ballard, Jim, Louella C. are a few who attend there. Gave George 30 -shaped in a dog-earred 20 and a double fold 10=670.
- Wed.Brought George F. 5 long-sleeved XL shirts. Beck and I drove to Jonestown and Focused to the tune of siete cientos. We are staying faithful to our economic plans! We ate at Western Sizzlin... really a good buffet!
- *Thurs. Got my animules fed and then went over to Plantation Home. Charlie the Spoon didn't show... but played and led singing for a group of a dozen or so! Edith Wilson Rhodes'family were visiting and we had a great time.. reminising! I never knew that Edith was the mother of Ricky/Nicky Rhodes! Told them the story of Nicky pointing like a dog on a class trip! We all laughed at that ! Worked on the '74 Ford truck and then on the '88 Escort. I got the manual on the Escort! Makes fixing them so much easier! It has been so rainy and the Pecan limbs are falling all over!!! George F. got his $30 from his check(that is all he gets from his SS check to spend!)in the form of 3 tens. He wants me to remember this for him. I know that I have to write it down!!
- Up and at Sav-A-Lot at 8:02 and then at the Pizza Place at 8:08am. Billy S. and I traded. Beckey called and wanted to go to Jonesboro to register to vote in Craighead County. I am registered in Poinsett and will probably always be. I try never to miss voting. I know that she is voting McCain/Palin. I am planning to get antique tags for the '74 Ford truck... Oh, I pulled a large Pecan limb that had demolished my greenhouse with the old Black Ford. I am glad I sprayed the bed Wed. before all this rain. Jimmy S. hired a man to cut a huge Pecan limb that was over his house(roofed double-wide). I walked over and the climber some 30 feet high spoke so clear...."Is that you, Mr. Hinds?" I recognized him even in his lofty perch and spoke briefly.... He said that he was a "nut up a tree!" I wished them luck not wanting to witness an accident so early in the day!!! Billy S. called and said he had passed all driving tests and would be on the road(trucking) next Tuesday. I have become quite attached to Billy/Alicia, Charity, Preston and Destiny since they hauled scrap metal for me some 3 months ago... O.Hinds ...
