- Beckey worked on a dress today. She is quite a seamtress. Oh, she says she answers my phone calls a lot as well..ha(that goes both ways). I had breakfast with George F. Ann E. is a good cook. The medicine procedure has changed and residents have to go to the end of the room to get their medicines from Sara. It is better this way, since Sara can check and see each one take their medicine! George has a great appetite. I fixed him and a few others coffees and took a few of the residents water. I spoke with Etta, Danny, Marie, Maggie, Betty H., Jackie A. Ruby passed away last week and Nolan Raper (who previously lived at P.Homes died over at the old Melody Nursing Home). Some of the folks may remember Nolan as the guy in the electric scooter and the flag that zoomed all over Trumann. He was also Mazine Qualls' brother. I still have his picture next to a skinned bobcat up at Plantation Homes. I dropped by and checked on the '90 Red Ranger. Brian M. called about 7ish and Beckey took me in the TransAm to the Grove to pay him and pick up the truck. He told me that he would get me an improved shifter from his dad and install it. But the truck did well on the return trip to Bay. I may sell the '91 Nissan and keep the '90 Ranger.
Well, church tomorrow and a chance to see many of the nursing home residents who were out at the NEA Fair Thursday. Have a great Sunday tomorrow!! O.Hinds
